Getting Started

Starting mat Pilates at home in Australia

No reformer, no resistance bands, no thousand dollar machine taking up the spare room. Every class is 100% mat-based and made for home. All you need is a yoga mat and enough floor to lie down on. See the class library.

A yoga mat and enough space to stretch your arms out. That is the whole list. If you do not have a mat yet, a folded towel on carpet will get you through your first week.

Yes, including day-one beginners who cannot touch their toes. Melissa talks you through every movement, you go at your own pace, and nobody is watching. If you would like to know exactly what the first few weeks look like, read Pilates for beginners at home.

None at all. Melissa could not hold a plank for ten seconds when she started. Three years later she teaches this every day. Read her story.

Yes. Every plan includes a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. Cancel before it ends and you will not be charged a cent. Start your trial.

Plans & Pricing

Pilates membership plans and pricing

Three plans, all in AUD. Premium Monthly is $49.99 a month, about $1.64 a day. Premium Yearly is $399.99 a year, around $1.09 a day, saving roughly $200 against monthly. Recipe Access Only is $19.99 a month for the recipe library without the classes. Every plan includes a 7-day free trial. See the plans side by side.

Premium Monthly and Premium Yearly are the same membership, all 90+ classes, all 50+ recipes, weekly schedules and seasonal challenges. The only difference is how you pay, and the yearly saves you around $200. Recipe Access Only is the recipe library on its own, with no Pilates classes.

If you are here to move, start with Premium Monthly and switch to yearly once you know you will stick with it. If you are here for the food and already have your movement sorted, Recipe Access Only is the one. Nobody at this end is offended either way.

Yes. No lock-in contract, no retention phone call, no guilt trip. Cancel from your account settings whenever you like, and if you cancel during your 7-day trial you are not charged at all.

Any time, from your account settings. Move up to Premium for the classes, or switch to yearly once you know this is a keeper. Get in touch if you would like a hand.

The Classes

Inside the mat Pilates class library

Five styles. Booty for glutes, Core for your midsection and posture, Full Body for head to toe, Stretch for releasing everything a desk did to you, and Upper Body for arms, shoulders and back. Every membership includes all five. Browse them here.

From 10 to 15 minutes on the days that got away from you, up to 30 to 45 minutes when you have the time and the inclination. There is always something that fits.

Every single week, on top of the 90+ already there across all five styles. The library you join is never the library you end up with.

Yes, with consistency. Most women notice better posture and a stronger core within a few weeks, then visible tone and real confidence over a couple of months. Nobody here is promising a transformation by Friday.

Recipes & Challenges

The anti inflammatory recipe library

Over fifty, with a brand new one added every week. Breakfasts, smoothies, lunches, dinners, snacks and desserts, all whole food and anti-inflammatory, with the macros already worked out so you do not have to. Have a look through the library.

Yes, and we would rather you did. Three are free for everyone with the full ingredients and method, no account and no card. Try the blueberry oat smoothie, the chicken caesar wraps or the lemon herb chicken. Cook one tonight and decide afterwards.

Premium Monthly, Premium Yearly and Recipe Access Only all include the full recipe library. Recipe Access Only is the one to pick if you want the food without the classes. For more on eating around your practice, read what to eat before and after Pilates.

Structured programmes that run over a set period to help you build consistency and see real results, with the rest of the community doing them alongside you. Included with Premium plans.

Health & Safety

Pilates for back pain, pregnancy and injuries

Pilates is widely recommended for back pain because it strengthens the deep core and spinal stabilising muscles that hold you up all day. If you have a specific condition or injury, check with your healthcare provider before starting. More from the Better Health Channel.

Speak to your doctor or midwife before starting any new exercise during pregnancy, and follow their guidance over ours. Movement guidelines are available from Australia's Department of Health.

Mat Pilates is low impact and often used in rehabilitation, but if you have a specific injury please check with your healthcare provider or physiotherapist first. We would always rather you asked.
